This has been due to an issue on Twitter’s end. Hopefully Twitter will have this resolved shortly; we’ll update this post once we hear it’s resolved.

Update 11:20am Sydney time: Twitter reports that this issue has been resolved, and they are testing the fix.

We’ve now updated the feature to use the new code (you may need to clear your cache and restart your browser if reloading Gmail doesn’t fix it).

Our new status page keeps track of all the different versions of Gmail’s code (and whether or not we’re supporting them yet). If you encounter issues with this feature in the future, please check this page to find out if your Gmail version is supported, and how to let us know if it’s not supported yet.

Emily http://www.rememberthemilk.com/ <![CDATA[Support for Android devices with smaller screens]]> http://status.rememberthemilk.com/?p=91 2009-10-15T06:44:20Z 2009-10-15T06:44:20Z Remember The Milk for Android is not yet available for Android devices with smaller screens than the regular size, which may be something to keep in mind if you’re looking at purchasing a device such as the HTC Tattoo and are keen to install RTM. :)

Each Android developer needs to update their app to specifically support devices with smaller/larger screen densities than normal. We’re working to have support for these devices as soon as we can, and apologise for any inconvenience in the meantime.

Emily http://www.rememberthemilk.com/ <![CDATA[Scheduled maintenance [completed]]]> http://status.rememberthemilk.com/2009/10/04/87/ 2009-10-27T02:32:58Z 2009-10-03T15:23:23Z We’ll be doing some maintenance this weekend to perform an essential upgrade that will increase capacity. Remember The Milk will be down for up to four hours tomorrow (Sunday), starting at 5:00pm Sydney time (view in your timezone). We’ll endeavour to complete the upgrade as quickly as possible, and I’ll post again here once we’re done — thanks for your patience! :)

Tip: You might be aware that you can use RTM with Gears to manage your tasks while offline. Provided you have it set up prior to our scheduled maintenance, you can use this feature to manage your tasks while RTM is offline too — your changes during this period will be synchronized when RTM returns from maintenance.

Update 5:00pm Sydney time: Let the maintenance begin!
Update 9:15pm Sydney time: Running a tiny bit late, but we’re almost done (promise!).
Update 9:40pm Sydney time: And, we’re back! W00t!

Emily http://www.rememberthemilk.com/ <![CDATA[Repeating task issue on BlackBerry OS 4.5 and above]]> http://status.rememberthemilk.com/2009/09/15/85/ 2009-09-15T13:51:40Z 2009-09-15T13:51:40Z Unfortunately there’s a bug in the BlackBerry OS that prevents completion of some repeating tasks that are being synced to Remember The Milk with MilkSync for BlackBerry.

If you try to complete one of the affected repeating tasks, the Tasks application on the BlackBerry will subsequently crash and freeze the device (requiring the device to be restarted).

We’ve reported the issue to BlackBerry developer RIM, who have acknowledged the issue with BlackBerry OS 4.5 and above, and will be dealing with this appropriately. Unfortunately, RIM has not been able to provide a workaround to prevent the Tasks application from crashing, so we cannot resolve this in MilkSync.

In the meantime, if you do encounter this issue with your version of the BlackBerry OS, the following steps are a way that you can workaround the issue to complete affected tasks on your device:

  1. Open the task in the Tasks app
  2. Change status to ‘In Progress’
  3. Change status back to ‘Not Started’
  4. Save the task
  5. It’s now possible to complete the task

Alternatively, you might wish to complete your repeating tasks from the web app instead, or from the web-based mobile version on your BlackBerry.

We apologise for any inconvenience while we wait for RIM to resolve this issue with the OS.

Unfortunately this update has introduced a bug into our iPhone app: it’s not possible to edit existing notes in the app on 3.1. (Creating new notes still works fine.)

We’re working on an updated version of our app to workaround this issue; we’ll update this post as soon as it’s available. We apologise for any inconvenience in the meantime. :(

Update Oct 13: We’re currently waiting for Apple to approve an update to the app that resolves this issue.
Update Oct 27: Apple has now approved our update (version 1.2.0) and it’s available on the App Store.
